Dr. Sierra's Basic Phase 1 Weight Loss Food Plan:

FASTING

Dr. Sierra sets a goal for all of her Phase 1 Weight Loss participants (unless medical condition, allergy or other does not allow) to fast for 12 to 14 hours each 24 hour cycle. This means, for example, to eventually be able to drink only water (or acceptable other fluid) from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. or whatever time schedule fits for you. It is very important to closely follow Dr. Sierra's proven methods for longevity of life, good health and weight management. Dr. Sierra's tremendous success comes in part from her ability to adapt proven methods into customized plans for each patient.

BREAKFAST

Start your day off with tea, coffee or lemon juice with stevia sweetener which are all allowed in the food plan.

Then choose from one of the following:

  • Protein smoothie: 1/2 cup non-fat milk, 1/2 cup Greek unsweetened yogurt, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 cup berries, ice;

  • 2 servings of fruit: an apple, orange, 6 strawberries, or 1/2 grapefruit.
